Privacy policy

A document sent for a quote or for translation is not passed on to any third party without your agreement. It is never fed into a public machine translation engine or into an online artificial intelligence service: the computer-assisted translation tools in use are installed locally and feed translation memories that are yours alone.

Where a project calls for a translator from the network to step in (for a translation into English or into German, for example), you are told before anything is sent, and that translator is bound by the same confidentiality undertaking.

Documents are kept for the duration of the project and of its warranty period, then deleted. Sworn translations are an exception: a record of them is kept in accordance with the obligations that apply to experts listed with a court of appeal.

A confidentiality agreement can be signed before anything is sent, at your request or at that of your legal department.

The fields of the form (surname, first name, company, email address, telephone, nature of the request and message) are collected on the basis of your consent, obtained through a tick box that is not pre-ticked. They are used solely to answer your enquiry and to draw up the corresponding quote.

The controller is Selea, 1 route de la Mondasse, 71250 La Vineuse sur Fregande, France. The data passes through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris), a processor within the meaning of the GDPR, whose servers are located in the European Union. It is kept for 3 years from the last exchange.

A hidden field is used to screen out automated submissions. It records nothing, and it is neither displayed, nor read by assistive technologies, nor reachable with the keyboard.

Traffic is measured with Umami Cloud, in the European region. This tool sets no cookies and records no identifier, no full IP address and no browser fingerprint: it therefore cannot recognise you from one visit to the next, and no consent banner is needed. No data is shared with advertising networks.

It is the only external resource loaded by the pages of this site. The fonts and the images are served from the domain itself, which avoids any request to a third-party service without your knowledge.

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability in respect of the data concerning you. You may exercise it through the contact form on this site, or by post to the address of the registered office.
